Beansprouts is a small-scale nursery setting in Bedminster. Offering a home-from-home approach to childcare, we care for up to eight children in our vibrant and nurturing environment. With a focus on learning through play, we want children to explore in ways that nourish their soul.
Our Ethos and Values
Our core principles lean heavily on Montessori values. We believe that children of all ages should be encouraged to take on tasks independently where they can, whether that’s finding a cup for a drink or choosing objects to put back in their place after play.

The Space
The space has plenty of natural light giving it a warm and airy feel. Playful colours and equipment have been carefully selected to create an inspiring and visually stimulating surrounding for your child to play and learn in.
Our purpose-built play garden with giant sandpit, water play areas, climbing apparatus and digger excavation area is fully sheltered and provides the perfect setting to explore outdoors no matter the weather.
Our Day
Daily activities are set up around the space for children to engage with, alongside our role-play areas and book corner.
During meal times we all sit together around tables to enjoy eating together. Snack times are either inside or outside sat together in a more casual scenario.
With Windmill Hill City Farm a short walk away and South Street Park just up the road, the children are able to explore the local area often.
